Colchester Zoo is a zoological garden situated near Colchester, England. The zoo opened in 1963 and celebrated its 60th anniversary on 2 June 2023. It is home to many rare and endangered species, including big cats, primates and birds as well as many invertebrates and fish species.

Colne Point Nature Reserve
Colne Point is a 276.4-hectare nature reserve south-west of St Osyth in Essex. It is managed by the Essex Wildlife Trust. It is part of the Colne Estuary Site of Special Scientific Interest, national nature reserve, Ramsar site, Nature Conservation Review site and Special Protection Area.

Millers Barn Golf Park was established in 1992, it is a beautiful and challenging 9 hole golf course and 21 bay floodlit practice range. We are located in Clacton-on-Sea with friendly staff and a fantastic atmosphere.
For the course we offer pay and play green fee’s as well as flexible memberships, tee off times can be booked online or over the phone. Our 21 bay practice range is newly fitted with power tee’s which includes 10 LED floodlit undercover bays for the darker evenings.

Point Clear is a village in the civil parish of St Osyth, south-west of the village of St Osyth and on the other side of St Osyth Creek, a branch of the Colne Estuary in the Tendring district, in the county of Essex, England. In 2018 it had an estimated population of 1674.
